Wilderness First Aid

Designed in partnership with the Wilderness Medical Society. This course provides information on how to handle common injuries and illnesses when medical care is an hour or more away. Designed for those who work or travel in remote locations. This comprehensive course covers preparation for outdoor events, what to look for and what to do in the event of an emergency in a remote area with an emphasis on prevention and safety. Many of the techiques are quite different from what is used in the urban setting.
