About Us
Bay Area Emergency Resources, LLC has been approved by the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) as a local training agency in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, and surrounding areas, and as such has been approved to teach the following training programs: Standard level First Aid; CPR; and AED; Advanced Level First Aid, CPR, and AED; First Responder Professional Rescuer CPR; Wilderness First Aid; and Bloodborne Pathogens. In addition we provide a variety of on-line course to allow more convienent forms of instruction.
All instructors of Bay Area Emergency Resources, LLC are state licensed, professional emergency responders with extensive street experience to enhance the learning experience. We would never allow any volunteer or non-medical persons to teach our courses.
All course materials are based on current national standards and are accepted as knowledge of emergency practices. The contents of our programs have been approved by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Pete Grasso retired from the St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue Department after 25 years of service. He has been a Florida State certified paramedic for over 27 years.
